STAARS - Submarine Technical Assistance, Assessment, & Reporting System: STAARS is an ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server Web application that enters, tracks, stores and reports on all of the Navy's technical assists. In other words, all of the Navy's Fleet Technical Assists run through this system. We take in the FTA's and assign them to a user group then track the tech assist until the completion. Reporting is happening all through the life of each ticket and we set up a pretty robust user group hierarchy so as to break out the user permissions. The client is very happy with this effort and is currently ordering a second and third phase to its development to make the applications reach even farther. WITT Java Application Programming: WITT is a Java based web system that tracks the readiness of our submarine fleet. We did not build this system but was brought in to automate sections of the app that were taking too long to process. We looked at the code and were able to reduce about 50,000 lines of code down to about 2,000 and improved the response time of the system to a magnitude of 10. After this improvement was implemented the client was so happy that they allowed us to build more functionality into their system involving the data gathering from excel spreadsheets. We hit the ground running and automated the pulling in of variable spreadsheet data and wrote special code to filter that data to the correct database tables. We are pretty proud that we were able to not only improve the response time for this client but were able to optimize and guarantee the data that they needed to transport was done right. Custom Application programming & Survey Generation: Fidler Consulting is a great client that comes to us for a wide spectrum of technical needs. We have added on to several web based systems for them as well as created several custom survey systems for them. Fidler Consulting is a consumer of our automated survey build tool and would sing it's praises to whoever will listen. We look forward to a very long and beneficial business relationship. GPCR - Accounting based application control software: The Florida National Guard had a problem with its credit cards. The problem was that the authorized users, thousands of them through out the Guard, were making purchases that had not been authorized and were not being tracked. To put it bluntly they were spending too much money and didn't know where it was going. We stepped in and delivered a web based solution that set up an easy to follow system of making a purchase request, getting the request approved in a rapid fashion, assigning a control number for that purchase and then reconciling the actual purchase amount. This system not only tracked and controlled each purchase the Guard made but also assigned the various units their pots of money and let the solider know in a clear and easy way how much money they had left to spend. This system has been in operation for over 2 years now and we are happy to say that we have helped save the taxpayers a ton of previously lost revenue. Software installation, Networking & Training: Elizabeth River Lawn & Landscapes is a new and growing business handling a very large commercial real estate portfolio. Their business depends on knowing what and how much it will take to complete a job and to make it profitable. There are a lot of moving parts to their business as well material and hardware costs that must be tracked and maintained. We were brought in to assess how they do their business and to recommend what they need to do to accurately track every aspect of what they do. After some careful analysis and a lot of questions we came up with a terrific off the shelf solution from another vendor that fit all of their tracking needs, installed, networked and trained the guys on how to use it all. The whole team was up and running within a week with a clear direction and plans for the future growth of the company.
